One of the most exciting things happening in local food in Vermont is the Farm to Plate Initiative.  Why?  Here is an op-ed I wrote for Vermont Digger giving one view.  Look at their site and see for yourself.

Closer to home, we have the Burlington Urban Agriculture Task Force, housed at the Burlington Food Council.
